Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show? (Section B 2a-2e) 教学设计 思礼镇初级中学 陈彦瑞 教学内容分析 本单元的核心话题是“讨论娱乐活动(Talk about Entertainment)”。Section A的话题主要围绕电视节目(TV shows)展开,引入了各种不同的节目类型;Section B在此基础上拓展了电影(movie)这个话题,2a-2e作为一个完整的阅读板块围绕卡通片(cartoons)这一电影类型展开,主要讨论一个为学生熟知的美国卡通形象—米老鼠(Mickey Mouse),让学生通过阅读了解卡通片在美国文化中的地位,特别是米老鼠的诞生和成名过程、以及人们喜欢它的原因。 教学设计理念 本部分阅读教学仍然采用读前(Pre-reading)、读中(While-reading)、读后(Post-reading)的设计思路,通过饶有趣味的话题导入激发学生的阅读热情,通过层层递进的阅读任务逐步加深学生对语篇内容的把握,通过自主发现的诱导式探究促进学生对重要语言知识的掌握,最后通过开展与话题密切联系的“信息沟(Information Gap)”游戏让学生在轻松愉快的环境中实现话题延伸,并在该游戏成果的基础上及时进行写作技能强化。 本部分教学活动始终遵循任务型教学的教学理念,以学生为学习的主体,以任务为中心,贯穿听、说、读、写四项基本技能的培养。同时提倡学生参与、体验、独立思考、合作探究,教会学生在做中学、在学中用。 教学目标设计 知识与技能 Master the key words and expressions:culture, famous, appear, become, rich, successful, might, main, reason, common, film, unlucky, lose, girlfriend, character, think of, come out, one of the main reasons, such as, be ready to, try his best. Improve students’ comprehensive skill. 过程与方法 Learn the use of infinitives as objects through a reading material.
