Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science.(Section A 1a-1c) 教材分析:本单元的话题是“生活目标”,功能为“讨论未来的志向”。本节课是本单元的第一课时,教学要引导学生感知、运用重点句式“What do you want to be when you grow up?””I want to be an engineer.””How are you going to do that?””I’m going to study math really hard.”学会运用这些句型来谈论自己或别人的生活目标和未来的志向,并学会根据自己的爱好和能力合理确定自己的人生志向。 学情分析:八年级的学生对于职业积累了一些词汇,对自己的未来人生规划也有话可说,乐于参与。教师要注意启发引导。 教学目标: 语言知识: 1词汇:cook,doctor,engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, grow up. 句型:(1)-What do you want to be when you...? - I want to... (2)-How are you going to do that? - I’m going to ... 3.功能: Talk about future intentions. 二、语言技能: 1.训练学生听懂谈论职业理想及实现理想的途径的材料。 2.教会学生运用动词的一般将来时谈论自己或别人未来的职业理想及实现职业理想的途径。 三、学习策略: 培养学生主动用be going to谈论自己或别人的生活目标和未来打算的习惯和意识。 情感态度: 指导学生根据自己的爱好和能力合理确定自己的人生目标。 教学重点: 学生掌握谈论未来职业的句型,进一步学会谈论自己的理想。 教学难点: 谈论自己未来的职业及为获得这个职业而采取的措施。 教学步骤: Step 1. Warming up Revision Teacher play a short video about dream jobs. Students watch and answer questions. Play a game Quick Eyes to review jobs words. Step 2. Presentation Present new words with pictures. Group work. Divide the job words into groups according to their spelling. Present sentence patterns: (1)- What do you want to be when you...? - I want to... (2)- How are you going to do that? - I’m going to ... 4. Pair work. Make conversations using the new words and new sentence patterns. Step 3. Listening Before listening.Look at the picture in 1a.Discuss their future intentions. Listening. First time listening.Listen and fill in the blanks. Then match the items. Listen again. Fill in the blanks. After listening. Practice the conversation in the picture. Step 4.
