Materials andMethods: 28 cases w ith pathologically confirmed parapharyngeal space tumorw as analyzed, including size, shape, density, degree of enhancement, location, and the relationship between the styloid and carotid artery sheath. Results: 28 patientsw ith parapharyngeal space tumors, pleo- morphic adenoma 5 cases, schw annoma 4 cases, neurofibroma 2 cases, carotid body tumor 2 cases, lymphoma 8 cases, cervical lymph nodemetastasis 3 cases from nasopharyngealcarcinoma, metastatic lymph nodes5 cases. 5 cases pleomorphic adenoma showed pre- styloid space flatovalsoft tissuemass, four cases schw annomaw ere located in the post- styloid space, show ing round or irregular soft tissuemass, ofw hich there are two cases of cystic necrosis, 2 cases carotid body tumor was round and the density of soft tissuemass, located in themedialcarotid bifurcation, 8 cases of lymphoma showedmultiple nod- ular soft- tissuemass shadow in the pre- parapharyngeal space anterior, three cases of cervical lymph node metastasis from nasopharyngeal carcinoma manifested multiple enlarged lymph nodes in the parapharyngeal space. Conclusion: The most common tumors of the pre- styloid space is pleomorphic adenoma and lymphoma, themost common tumors o
