Task 1 Test yourself 一、写出下列各形容词的比较级 short thin big beautiful large hot busy popular much good shorter thinner bigger more beautiful larger hotter busier more popular more better 形容词比较级的 构成规则 1.直接在形容词后加-er。（比较级，要变化,一般词尾+er) 2.以不发音的e结尾的形容词直接在其后加-r。(词尾有哑音e,直接+r就可以) tall——taller nice——nicer 3.以重读闭音节结尾并且末尾只有一个辅音字母，应先双写 这个辅音字母再加-er.(重读闭音节,单辅音字母要双写) big——bigger 4.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的，先改“y”为“i”，再加-er。(辅音字母若+y,记得把y变成i) happy——happier 5.多音节和部分双音节形容词在其前面加more。 outgoing——more outgoing short—— small—— shorter large —— whiter white—— thin—— fatter fat—— heavier heavy— easier easy—— more beautiful beautiful—— more interesting interesting—— smaller thinner larger Task 2 Talk about people with comparative degree. cute cuter The boy is cuter than the girl. the girl the boy 比较级句型结构: 主语+谓语动词+adj./adv. 比较级+ than+ 对比成分 Pay attention to 用比较级进行比较时，前后用以对比的必须是 同类事物。 e.g. My hair is longer than hers. 在形容词比较级前还可用much, even, still, a little来修饰, 表示“…的多”, “甚至…”, “更…”, “…一点”。 e.g. This city is much more beautiful than before.
