Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science. Section A(Period 1) 教学目标 1. 知识目标: (1)能掌握以下单词:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, be sure about, make sure (2)能掌握以下句型: ① ─What do you want to be when you grow up? ─I want to be a basketball player. ② ─How are you going to do that? ─I’m going to practice basketball every day. ③ Where are you going to work? ④ When are you going to start? ⑤ I’m not sure about that. 2. 能力目标: (1)掌握一般将来时态的构成形式  (2)用一般将来时态表达将要做的事情。 3. 情感目标: 激发学生的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理 想而不断努力。 教学重难点 学习一般将来时态的构成方式 2. 在不同情景下运用来熟练运用一般将来时态。 教学过程 Review Let students list the words of jobs they have learned as many as possible. 2. Let students enjoy a flash about describing jobs and fill the blanks after watching it. 3.Show pictures of people doing different jobs to learn the new words:pianist, scientist and violinist. Guessing game Ask students to guess the jobs according to the describing words. Practice the new words by completing the sentences according to the pictures. Q: What do you want to be when you grow up? Why? Invite several students to talk about their dream jobs. Teach the sentence: How are you going to do that? Then do some exercise about it. Listening (1)Let students listen to the conversations and fill in the blanks. Then match the Items. (2)Invite 4 students to tell their answers and check with other students. Do some practice in 3a. Pair work A: What do you want to be when you grow up? B: I want to be a /an…. A: How are you going to do that? B: I’m going to …. What do you want to be? A: I want to be a /an…. And I’m going to ….
