Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show? Section A 一、教学目标： 1. 语言知识目标： 1). 能说出、写出 P33的单词和词组：news, mind, stand, think of, talent show, talk show, game show , soap opera, sitcom , sports show 2). 能掌握以下句型： ① What do you want to watch? ② What do you think of talk shows? ③ I can’t stand them. ④ I don’t mind them. ⑤ I like/love them. / I don’t like them. 3）学会陈述自己的看法。 2. 情感态度价值观目标：了解各类电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢的节目，学会合理安排看电视的时间。二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点： 1) 学习掌握各类电视和电视节目的名称。 2) 学会询问他人对某事物的观点并会正确表达自己的看法。 What do you think of game shows? Ⅱ.An wanted ad 1.Ask one student to read it 2.Divide the students into eight groups and tell them that we will have a competition among them and they will pass the four tests. The group who get the highest scores will join the school club. Ⅲ.Test One 1.Look at the pictures and learn the names of TV shows .And according to the looks of the cartoon characters to say what they think of the TV shows. 2.Read and remember the names of the TV shows and say your own ideas about the TV shows. 3.Listen to 1b. Ⅳ.Test Two Work in pair:What do you think of the…?/How do you like …? With some pictures about the TV shows. Ⅴ.Test Three 1.Make some sentences about the TV shows with “and ,but”to prepare for the writing. 2.Tell the Ss not to watch TV too much .Because it’s bad for Their study and health.
