In electric- ity m arket the problem of pricing and perform ing managem ent by AGC units is an mi portan t prob lem. The fuzzy analytic h ierarchy process based on triangu lar fuzzy num bers is advanced ami ing at the selection of AGC un its on the m arket- based power industry. It is illustrated that th ism ethod reflects the fuzzy inform ation and uncertainty of decision- m aking and enhances the reliability of the selections validated by examp les.
