Warming –up: Watch a video about Disneyland and then answer the teacher’s questions.
Get the video ready ,after watching the video, ask questions .

1. Fast–reading/scanning Read the first and last sentences of each Para. silently .and get the main idea of each paragraph individually. Then check the answers in pairs .
2.Careful–reading/skimming
Read paragraphs12 loudly, then answer the questions in pairs.
B: listen to one of the students read paragraphs 34 , then fill in the blanks in pairs.
1.Prepare some questions
2.Organize the students to read the text together.
3.Ask them to write down the answers and then check the answers in pairs .

Further- reading
Sum-up: Read the text again and discuss in pairs to sum-up the differences between Disneyland and other amusement parks.

Through this activity ,students can get further understanding of the text and improve their oral English and so on .

Group work : Introduce Disneyland
in groups with the help of mind maps .
