Step1Greetings and Revision
1. To greet the students as usual
Purpose of my designing: Make the Ss know the class starts and get ready for it
2. Show some pictures of some places on screen then have the Ss make some conversations
Purpose of my designing: To provide situations to review learned knowledge
Step2Lead-in
1. Show a movie about Singapore
Purpose of my designing : To know something about Singapore before reading
2. Ask Ss: Have you ever been to Singapore? Would you like to take a holiday there?
Purpose of my designing: Make Ss more interested in reading the text
Step3While reading
1. Ask Ss to read the text and find the new words by themselves
Purpose of my designing: Be sure everyone understands the meaning of the vocabulary words
2. Work in groups then let the Ss make sentence with them
Purpose of my designing: To use new words properly and share good sentences together
3. Show out and see which group is the best Purpose of my designing: share good sentences together and encourage Ss to do better next time
Step4 Scanning
Teacher gives Ss five minutes to read the text and answer the questions on screen then check them.
