I. Teaching aims
Knowledge aims:
1. Try to understand the Comparative and Superlative Forms of Adjectives and Adverbs in reading.
2. Have a good command of the following vocabulary and target languages:
1) Vocabulary

(3) adj.:poor, crowded
(4)adv.:beautifully, seriously
( 5) phrases:have ... in common, all kinds of, be up to, play a role, make up, for example, take seriously

Ability aims: Train the students reading skills: fast reading and scanning.
Emotion aims: To join talent shows is not the only way to realize our dreams.

1) Show Ss pictures of some famous people on the screen.

Have Ss talk about who is the most talented person they know. Ask them to tell their partners what he/she can do.
Tell your partner about this person.
