Corresponding author : WA NG Y an-bin, E-mail: wyb 2000 @ 163. com) - Abstract: In order to ha e a more realistic display of the seamless integrated model of city surface and subsurface under Internet en ironm ent, 3D models w ere stereoscopically displayed by both acti e and passi e methods. With the CD-TIN as a link, city surface and subsurface integrated model seamlessly integrated the buildings, the ground and the spatial entities underground together. Stereo display of the 3D models w as realized according to the principle of stereo ision. U sing Acti eX control, 3D models were displayed on w eb pages. Watchers w ith stereo glasses can thus iew 3D models. The results show ed that the stereo iew ing can enhance the display effect of the model and induce a strong sense of immersion. It is fa orable to
