2014.2 测试工具与解决方案 基于LBP和变异直方图的视频文字检测方法 1 1，2 黄 同 ，邵思飞 （1.延安大学西安创新学院， 陕西西安,710100；2.延安大学物理与电子信息学院，延安，716000） 摘要：视频中的文字包含视频高层语义信息，对其定位和识别在视频信息检索中具有重要的作用，据此提出了一种基于局部 二值模式和变异直方图的由粗到精的视频文字检测算法。首先采用边缘检测和形态学分析粗略进行文字定位，然后经局部二 值模式进行纹理分析，最后利用变异直方图特征对候选的文字区域精确定位。上述检测方法全部在MATLAB7.0下编程实现，可 以精确定位出绝大多数文字的坐标，并用红色矩形框自动标注。实验结果表明，该方法简单，效果良好，特别是经过局部二值模 式纹理分析后，文字检测的查全率有所提高，且受文字语种、颜色、字体字号的影响相对较小。 关键词 ：局部二值模式；变异直方图；文字检测；边缘检测 中图分类号: TP391.1 文献标识码 : A An Approach for Video Text Detection Based on LBP and VGH 1 1，2 Huang Tong ，Shao Shifei (1.Innovation College of Yan’an University,Xi’an,710100,China; 2.College of Physics and Electronic Information ,Yan’an, University,Yan’an,716000,China;) Abstract ： The video text contains video semantic information,the location and recognition play an important role in video information retrieval,and puts forward a method based on local two value model and the histogram from coarse to fine algorithm for video text detection.First,the edge detection and morphological analysis of rough text location, then the local two value model for texture analysis, finally using histogram features accurate text area location on the candidate.The detection methods are implemented in MATLAB7.0,you can locate the coordinates of the vast majority of the text,and with a red rectangular box automatic annotation.The experimental results show that,this method is simple,the effect is good, especially after the two value model of local texture analysis,text detection recall increased,and text language, the effects of color,the font size of the relatively small.
