学 号：  NORTH 毕业论文 GRADUATE THESIS 论文题目： 《生死疲劳》中翻译补偿策略探究 学生姓名： 专业班级：11英语2班 学 院：外国语学院 指导教师： 2015年05月21日 An Analysis of Compensation Strategies Applied in Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out By A graduate thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts to the College of Foreign Languages North May 21st, 2015 摘 要 由于经济全球化和文化多元化的不断深入发展，优秀文学作品传播速度和范围随之变快变广，翻译作品的质量变得尤为重要。在翻译过程中，由于源语与目的语在语言结构和文化背景等方面存在种种差异，翻译中的意义与审美价值的损失就不可避免，因此翻译补偿应运而生。二十世纪八十年代以来，翻译学者逐渐将目光放在翻译补偿理论的研究上。不少中外学者都对翻译补偿做出过界定。这些成果都为补偿理论的具体实践奠定了坚实的基础。 本文以翻译补偿理论为理论支架，以《生死疲劳》的葛浩文译本为蓝本，试图从词汇角度，语篇角度以及审美角度对翻译补偿策略的应用进行探究，通过选取《生死疲劳》英译本中的语言实例进行个案研究，证明了翻译补偿理论尤其是翻译补偿策略的合理性及可行性。文旨在为补偿理论在实践中的应用提供新思路，以期对翻译学者有所启示。 关键词 《生死疲劳》；补偿策略； 词汇；语篇；审美 ABSTRACT With the further development of globalization and the processing of cultural diversity, excellent literature works spread at a higher speed and expand at a larger scope. So it is crucial to guarantee the quality of these works. Due to the lingual and cultural differences between source language and target language, it is unavoidable to lose the semantic meaning and aesthetic value of source text. Translation compensation must be employed to make up such losses. Since the 1980s, more and more attention has been given to the study and employment of translation compensation and now it plays an essential role in both the theoretical study and practice. Many translators and scholars at home and abroad have given their ideas on translation compensation. All these research achievements lay a theoretical foundation for its application in practice. Based on compensation theory, this thesis try to analyze compensation strategies applied in Life and Death Were Wearing Me Out, which is rendered by Howard Goldblatt, from the perspective of vocabulary, discourse and aesthetic value.
