摘 要 美国当代著名生态诗人加里·斯奈德作品的显著特点是强调生态、强调各种文化元 素的融合并有很明显的东方文化印记。本文研究斯奈德对中国文化特别是道禅思想的接 受。论文第一章论述了斯奈德与中国文化的碰撞，指出斯奈德对的中国文化接受有其必 然性。论文第二章从自然观、社会观、美学观三个方面论述了斯奈德对道家思想的接受。 自然观方面，斯奈德接受道家“道法自然”的观念。社会观方面，斯奈德接受道家“朴” 和“静”的生活观、“反战”和颂扬“女性”的观点。美学观方面，斯奈德认同道家强 调真实描述事实、通过直觉达到人与自然和谐统一的观点。论文第三章论述斯奈德对禅 宗“本心”论、“迷失论”和“开悟论”的接受。在禅宗“本心”论方面，斯奈德接受 “本心”是禅宗思想的核心，论述了对“本心”的追求是其作品中对禅宗思想接受的一 个不变的追求。在禅宗“迷失”论方面，斯奈德认同“迷失”论是对“本心”迷失缘由 的自省。在禅宗“开悟”论方面，斯奈德接受“开悟”的主要思想就是放下区别，建立 “不二”和“空”的观点。论文的结论部分指出，斯奈德对中国文化的接受并加以运用， 同时指出，他对中国文化的接受并不意味着在诸多文化因素中中国文化占据着主导位 置，他的作品都是多种文化相互融合。 关键词：加里·斯奈德；道家思想；禅宗思想；自然； 生态；本心 I 万方数据 II 万方数据 Abstract Gary Snyder is an American famous contemporary Eco-poet, the obvious features of his works is that focusing on the melting of the different cultures including Orient culture. This dissertation is researched on the acceptance of Gary Snyder to Chinese culture especially Taoism and Zen. The first chapter is talking about the relationship between Snyder and Chinese culture, pointing out the inevitability for Snyder to accept Chinese culture. The second chapter is talking about the acceptance of Snyder to Taoism, from the perspectives of nature, society and aesthetics. On nature, Snyder agrees with the attitude of “Tao models itself after its nature”. On society, Snyder accepts the idea “simplicity” and “quietness” of life; he also favors the idea of anti-war and speaks highly of female as Taoism. On aesthetics, Snyder holds the same view as Taoism that the truth should be described and human should be harmonious with nature through intuit
