The sp eed and scale of t he machine synt hesized sp eech are adj usted by t he basic value of t he pitch and duration of syllables corresponding to t he tonal template , t herefore t he naturalness and fluency of t he machine synt hesized sp eech are enhanced , i . e . t he quality improvement is realized .
