Step1 Revision ∕ Warm-up
Activity1:Say and do
Greet and play the song“My weekend”.
Students listen and follow.
Review the words about colours by looking and say: red、orange、yellow、green、 blue、purple.
Then review the words about weather:rainy、cloudy、windy、snowy、sunny like this:
Which weather do you like best? I like … best.
Step2 Presentation
Activity2:Talk about the weather
Ask:What’s the weather like today? Is it cold?
Students answer:No , it’s warm.
Teacher the word “spring”
Ask the class:Which season is cold? and teach the words:season、winter.
Then ask:Do you know another season? and teach the words:fall、winter.
Then look listen and say.
Activity3:Guess and read
Show pictures about the four seasons.
Students look 、listen and try to say together:spring、summer、fall、winter.
Then try to read one by one.
Activity4:Let’s learn
Show pictures about the four seasons and ask:
Which season do you like best?(What’s your favourite season?)
Students answer like:“Spring , it’s warm and sunny”.
Show the courseware,students look listen and follow.
Teach the word:favourite.
Then practise in groups.

Activity5:Discribe the four seasons
Ask:What’s the weather like in spring?
Give an example like:Spring is very warm. The leaves are green. We can see many flowers in spring.
Students practise in groups again according to the pictures.
