Abstract Based on micro-community platform of logistics service system research Based on micro-community platform of logistics service system research Abstract With the rapid development of electronic commerce and the society, there is an increasing demand for logistics service. However, the last kilometer has become the key to get through all of the logistics distribution, even a bottleneck which has restricted the development of logistics industry. Thus the concept of micro-community arises at the historic moment. It means in the last kilometer residents live or work within the scope of centralized area. Particularly in the existing coverage area of the first and second tier cities, the shipping of the last kilometer has a high cost. Besides, as the demand pressure of logistics service becomes higher, enterprises make little effect only by technology improvement, human expansion or cost pass through. This thesis investigates and proposes the logistics distribution system based on micro-community. First of all, this thesis seizes the shortages of the last kilometer in current logistics distribution system, especially the electronic commerce distribution system. The author proposes the concept of “logistics distribution system for micro community service”, through different types of communities, Convenience Service Station and other public service platforms to build a logistics distribution system. Afterwards comes the analysis and summary of the characteristics and needs of the micro-community. Secondly, based on the “logistics distribution for micro community service”, the author demonstrates its feasibility, cooperation modes, third party logistics docking and logistics information system of different types of communities. Finally, aiming at the “logistics distribution for micro community service”, the commercial operation mode, the core distribution system and information system are explored.
