The structure of material was analysed through Xray diffraction and the effects of different content of Cu and MgO on acetones converted to MIBKwere studied . The results showed the highest conversion of acetone was 73 . 96 % when the content of Cu was 4 % and that of MgO ,20 %. At last the reaction principle was preliminarily discussed .
