III III DISPARITIES RESEARCH OF REGIONAL INDUSTRIAL ECONOMIC IN GUANGXI ABSTRACT Industrial economy is an important force of economic growth in developing countries and regions. It has taken dominant position in pushing scientific and technological progress forward, improving labor efficiency, accelerating economic restructuring and promoting economic globalization and regional integration. However, regional disparity emerges with the development of industrial economy, which increases risk of regional instability and has negative impact on regional economic development. Therefore, reducing regional industrial economic disparities is an important way to promote coordinated development of regional economy. Guangxi is an important agricultural province in the southwest area. Due to the influence of history, location and policy, industries in regions of Guangxi are advancing unevenly, thereby affecting the overall development of industrial economy. Industry is one of the most important sectors of national economy, and the industrial level to a large extent reflects the economic development level of a country or a district. Therefore, it is worthwhile to measure and analyze the level of industrial economy based on the industrial economic development status, hence providing empirical reference for further research. Currently, Guangxi has stepped into the first half period of metaphase of industrialization, and moves towards a higher stage. It can not be ignored the fact that the industrial levels of the 14 cities in Guangxi vary greatly. Some cities have entered the period of late-industrialization, while some still linger in the early stage of industrialization. Furthermore, the industrial economic gap among regions is widening. Firstly, the thesis systematically reviews and summarizes the regional economic difference theory at home and abroad.
