STUDY STUDY oN MoDERN AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY DEVELoPMENT IN DONGⅪNG CITY oF GUANGⅪ ABSTRACT Proper planning is the first step for any developmental process．Development of modern agriculture is the first and core task of rural development，for construction of new rural industry support；is the breakthrough point to solve the problem of ”Agriculture，Rural areas and Farmers”．The development of modem agriculture and modem agriculture planning is a comprehensive，integrated，deployment and a guarantee for sustainable development of modem agriculture． Due tO special geographic position Dongxing city has unique resources advantage．The objective of this research is rural and agricultural development in Dongxing city,based on the opinion of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’S Government on accelerating the development of agricultural industry”and also on Dongxing city twelfth five-year plan for national economic and social development program．The analysis of current condition for modem agriculture development planning in Dongxing city,and implementation plan of the corresponding measures are also put forward．Combined with GIS technology and SWOT method，according to the geographic characteristics of Dongxing city, administrative area，natural environment，geological physiognomy,climate，water and Marine resources，soil resources，nature reserve resources，tourism resources， ecological environment and other natural geographical conditions，socio-economic status and Dongxing city,to the development of modem a酣culture advantages and restricting factors were analyzed，for its development orientation for modem agriculture”Marine agriculture，International agriculture，Winter agriculture，Brand agnculture and urban a酣culture．”At the same time product evaluation of manufacturing，the planting industry, animal husbandry industry, forest product industry of Dongxing city were key areas in planning；Guided by the principle of 万方数据 layout layout planning，modem agricultural industry zone layout
