Abstract Topological Research on Hull Structure Abstract The dissertation actualizes the topology design system of hull structure, investigates mainly the sectional drawing about the cross profile and the longitudinal profile of hull structure, and educes topology connected relation among parts and the topology storage method in computer for section parts, and constructs frame structure of the system. The dissertation discusses topology data structure of the sectional drawing of hull structure and topology design arithmetic. In the dissertation, the application process of the topology design system of hull structure is illustrated. At last, the dissertation summarizes and prospects topology research on hull structure. According to topological principle, the dissertation studies topologically the object designed by the topology design system of hull structure, namely the sectional drawing of hull structure. In the dissertation, the result from analysing topologically the section of hull structure is illustrated, that is in case of that the sectional drawing of hull structure is regarded as topology space, the contour line of every part of hull structure on the section is regarded as topology element of the topology space.
