I love.../ I like.../ I don’t mind/ I don’t like/ I can’t stand them/it. 教学难点：第三人称单数谓语动词在核心句型中的使用。 教学过程： Step 1 Lead—in Have a free talk with students. T: what do you usually do on weekends? S1: I often play games with my friends. S2: I usually play basketball. S3: …… T: Do you like watching TV? What kind of TV shows do you know? Step 2: Presentation Show some pictures and talk about some TV shows: talk show, soap opera, sports show, sitcom ,…. Show some pictures about TV shows and fill in the blanks. Work on 1a. Step3 Listening Guide students to look at the picture and ask questions: What are the two boys doing in the picture? What do you think of talk shows? Lead in : love ,like ,don’t mind, can’t stand. Let students to look at the pictures in 2a and ask some questions, let them think: How many people are there in the picture? What are their names? Where are they? What are they doing? What are they probably talking about? Play the tape recorder. Students listen to the tape and finish the task in 1b , 2a and 2b.Then check the answers together. Step 4 Practice Ask two students to read the conversation in 1b and 2c . A: What do you want to watch ? B: What do you think of news? A: It’s interesting. B: Why? A: Because I hope to find out what’s going on around the world. Students work in pairs to practice the conversation using the information in 2a and 2b.
