Review Words: warm, cool, hot, cold Sentences: What’s the weather like in…? --It’s... Let’s chant! Brrr, it’s cold, it’s cold outside. put on a hat. Cold, bye-bye! Mmm! It’s warm. It’s warm inside. Take off your shoes. It feels so nice. T: Last class we learnt some words to describe the weather, still remember ? Show some pictures on the screen. (warm, hot, cool, cold) Let the students read out these words together with different intonations. (High-low voice) Then let the students have a dictation. (What’s the weather like in…? It’s… ) 3. Presentation words: sunny, snowy, rainy, windy, cloudy. TPR (Let the students do by speaking out ) Listen to the recording Let’s learn and read after it. Question and answer. (T-S, S-S) 4. Practice Invite several students to come front. T shows the card with a kind of weathers to the other students, after the other students speak out the word, the students in front could do actions they like according to the meaning of the word. Let’s act. Use the sentence structures. (What’s the weather like in…?--It’s…and…. Is it…?—Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. ) Consolidation Let the students to finish the exercise on the screen, then check the answer. 6. Homework Ⅰ.Try to make a new dialogue to talk about the weather with your partner. Ⅱ.Write a letter to your pen pal to introduce the weather where you are. 教学体会 本节课的内容是四年级下册第三单元的Let’s learn(2),本单元的学习主题是天气,让学生了解世界主要城市的天气差异,能够对气候特点和天气情况进行描述,天气与我们的生活息息相关,每天出门前我们都会观察天气状况,本节课主要教授描述天气的几个单词,以及将上次课所学的词结合起来进行问答,在复习中,我播放了一小段听力,让学生听相关句子然后回答问题,在新授中利用图片让学生对单词进行操练,师生问答,生生问答, 邀请部分学生上台表演,在共同的互动中巩固所学单词,将学生们分为四组,提高积极性。课程的最后通过练习(翻译句子,给句子排序)进行复习,复习到第一单元的几个方位词及三年级学习过的一些词汇,学生们在chant中动起来,嘴里说出的句子和手上的动作一致,同时通过改写第一单元的歌词,让学生们把第二单元的主要词汇和句子在愉悦的音乐中巩固。总之,这堂课需要改进的地方还有很多,课堂侧重点不是很明显,课堂效率还需提高,由于平时很少让学生成立学习小组,实现互帮互助,学生的
