Evaluating the Attenuation Constant of Second-Order
Circuit and Error Analysis

Abstract This paper evaluates the attenuation constant of three damping states on the basis of analyzing the system input
and response． The lower limit of attenuation constant in over-dumped state is proposed by simulating and examples． The
error analysis are shown in three damping states． The results show that it is feasible to evaluate the attenuation constant in
physics and electrical engineering experiments and the method in this paper is useful．
