遠東學報第二十一卷第一期 中華民國九十三年一月出版 美國家庭收入之分析 An Analysis of the American Household Income 凌嘉華 實踐大學會計學系專任副教授 德明技術學院會計學系兼任副教授 劉信柱 實踐大學會計學系專任講師 文化大學會計學系兼任講師 摘 要 近幾年經濟收入和貧富水準的關係一直是大眾所關切的議題. 這篇研 究是用統計迴歸方法來分析影響家庭收入的各項變數, 結果顯示這些 變數(教育程度大專就讀人數百分比, 貧窮水準以下人數百分比,平均 汽車保險花費, 接受社會安全福利人數百分比等)和家庭收入的關係. 本研究涵蓋從美國人口普查局的資料庫中普查五十州加上華盛頓特區 共 51個實例和 63個變數, 基本的技術是用統計逐步迴歸方法來分析, 而所有假設檢定的結果是取自於迴歸模型中每一步驟中決定統計重要 性的F-統計數值. 關鍵辭: 相關分析, 多元迴歸, 逐步迴歸, 所有迴歸. This study uses statistical regression methods to analyze the relationships of the median household income among other variables; some of these are the percentage of people with college education and the percentage of persons below poverty level and average auto insurance expenditures per insured vehicle and the percentage of social security recipients. There are 51 cases (50 states and Dist. of Columbia) and 63 variables in the data set were censused by the US Census Bureau. The basic technique used in the analyses is the stepwise regression procedure. All results of testing hypotheses are obtained by the F-statistic numerical values for determining the statistical significance of regression models at each step under consideration.
