In the previous one, Ss finished reading the contents. The main aim of this period is to help students understand the contents of reading strategy and apply what they have learned to writing. 实 施 教 学 过 程 设 计 步骤 教学活动 设计意图 互动时间 模式 Step 1 Warming up 1.Play a video clip to help students better understand what VR is. 2. Ask Ss to explain “What is Virtual reality?” in English. 利用视频导入主题,激活学生所学VR知识。 2 m’ I W C W Step 2 Revision Play a game to help students find out and go over the following useful expressions from the text on P 42 to 43. 采用游戏,激活课堂氛围并帮助学生复习和定位课文关键的表达方式。 5 m’ IW CW Step 3 Presenting 1. Tell Ss they are going to find out the ways that the writer used in this passage in order to make the presentation clear and convincing. 2. Present the ways separately 1) How to compare Invite Ss to read paragraph two and ask them to find out the sentence which shows RealCine is better than other films. Present the sentence “Unlike a film, where a passive audience watches and hears what is happening on a screen, RealCine puts you into the action and connects with your senses of sight, hearing, smell and touch in an active way”on PPT. Remind Ss to pay attention to the words highlighted, and encourage students to think of more words or phrases which are used to compare different information.
