Therefore, it is more and more used in actual production. When starting the conveyor, it is caused viscoelastic deformation, because the acceleration has reduced to a minimum mutation, which formed the instant impact into parts of machine, even destroy the whole belt conveyor. Therefore, choosing a correct starter that realizes soft start mode not only can improve the conveyor, also can greatly extend the life of machine, while reducing the impact resulting when starting grid. In this article, I make the comparison of various start mode, while designing approaches for soft start of variable frequency of the large belt conveyor system.
