Sentencese: Look at my nose./Wow!It’s big.
Look at my eye./Oh!It’s small.
三.Difficulty:
Can use “Wow!It’s big./ Oh!It’s small.” fluently in English.
四.Teaching steps
Step 1. Warming up
Song:This is my eraser.
Revise
Translate:book / bag / pen / pencil…
Make sentences:This is my book.Look at my book.
……
Step 2. Presentation
1.New words.
(1)T:Look,this is my nose.(Teacher points to own nose and let the students understand “nose”)
Ss:Read “nose” after the teacher.“N-O-S-E,nose nose 鼻子”
T: Then teacher cuts a nose and let the students look at it carefully:What is “n” like?
Ss:鼻形
T: What is “o” like?
Ss:鼻孔
T: What is “s” like?
Ss:鼻线
T: What is “e” like?
Ss:鼻翼
T: How do we remember “nose”?Let’s compose a chant and remember it,OK?
Ss:Yes. 鼻形n, 鼻孔o, 鼻线s, 鼻翼e, 组成nose要记牢。
(2) Then the students cut a nose and say the chant.
2.Sentence.
(1)Game:
T:Show me your nose.
Ss:(Show their noses) Look at my nose.
T: 利用自己手中的鼻子和学生手中的鼻子相互比较,并适时说出“Wow!It’s big./ Oh!It’s small.”
Ss:边听边理解,边听边跟学这两个句子,然后同位、前后位边用手中的图片比较边说这两个句子。
3.(1)T:Look,this is my eye.(Teacher points to own eye and let the students understand “eye”)
Ss:Read “eye” after the teacher.“E-Y-E,eye eye 眼睛”
T: Then teacher cuts a eye and let the students look at it carefully:What is “e” like?
Ss:人的左眼
T: What is “y” like?
Ss:人的鼻子
T: What is “e” like?
Ss:人的右眼
