The lightw eight compo- nents are separated through a few columns chromatography. Meanw hile GC and GC/ M S are used to analyze and classify the main compounds. Furthermore naphthalene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene and acearylenes are separated out from the lightw eight components.H eavyweight components are prepared high-qua-l ity coa-l tar pitches by R- 134 evaporator device after reextracting small molecular compounds and the structural properties of coa-l tar pitches are analyzed by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
