Optimal Optimal Design of the F rame Composite Beam’S Negative Moment Region by coverplate Discipline：Structural engineering ， Student Signature： 厶Q h p q八 Supervisor Signature： 嗡 Abstract The steel-comrete composite beams are fully exert the compressive strength of the concrete and the tensile properties of the steel bean腮through the shear connectop3．Steel- conerete composite beams used in frame suucture can make structure system with small CroSS section and low cost,high carrying capacity and stiffness，well improve the frame beams load-bearing capacity,which has broad application prospect in engineering． The bad carrying capacity ofthe frame composite beam in the negative bending region is much bwer than that in the positive moment region,and it is a weakness．The optimization methods of composite frame beams by adding coverpate in the negative moment area，can effectively enhance the flextnal bearing capacity ofcomposite frame beams in hogging moment area，improve the bcal stability ofbeam and the seismic energy dissipation capacity． The main research contents ofthis paper include： 1)Study the rationality and the improvement degree of the frame composite beam’S bending capacity with cover plate in the negative moment region．Determine the size of the coverplate and the connections between coverplates and the steel beam． 2)Based on the code，It is derivated that the bearing capacity calcuhtion rmthod of the frame composite beam with coverplate in negative moment area．based the the simplified model under bending and shear,the optimization calculation method is also derivated．The overall stability and bcal stability of the composite beams are studied，and the limit values of the he噜ht thickness ratio ofthe web are derivated． 3)By ABAQUS finite element simulation，It is studied ofsteel．concrete flame composite bearm with coverplate compared to without it to verified calculated results． 万方数据 Through Through theoretical derivation and ABAQUS fm沁element analysis，t
