Abstract
Car is a high-tech product and has become a necessity of modern life, leading the fashion.People have more dependence on the car, and put more attention on it, but also put forward higher requirements, which are reflected in the comfort, safety, power, and reliability. While comfort is related to NVH closely, vibration and noise is a problem that most companies are faced with.
There are many factors affect the comfort of car, rear axle is one of them. While main reducer assembly is the core of rear axle, the article is based on the main reducer to study. Rational use of dimensional chain (DC) can reduce product costs, improve product quality, and improve product interchangeability. The purpose of DC optimization of this paper is to improve NVH performance.
Firstly, the paper introduces the principles of DC and indicates the importance of studying DC to improve assembly accuracy and optimizing assembly process. It illustrates the concept and assembly method of dimensional chain and it lists the usual methods of calculating the assembly DC. Secondly, according to the assembly requirements, it calculates four types of DC, and gets the main factors affecting the main reducer assembly. The emphasis in this paper is the application of DC in the process of main reducer assembly. Its assembly accuracy affects the performance of driving axle. Analyze the dynamic factors affecting assembly demendional chain in the driving bevel gear and passive bevel gear assembly, and it draws the main factors and relationship with the assembly error. Size deviation affects noise and vibration when the gears mesh, thus it influences the vehicle NVH performance. Thirdly, it builds the three-dimensional model of the main reducer. Through the ADAMS simulation, it analyses the impact of the bearing span and installation distance. Making the three-dimensional map and contour map by matlab, it gets the best installation distance.
