Warming up 1. Play a video for the students. 2. Ask the students some questions. What’s the video about? 这是个关于什么内容的视频? It’s about the weather. How do we often describe the weather? 我们经常怎样描述天气? 询问天气: How is the weather in…? =What’s the weather like in …? 答语: It’s windy/cloudy/sunny/…. Ⅱ. Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let the students look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Students learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right.
