ABSTRACT This thesis analysis the structure of TOD theory and the development characteristics , which is principle 3D, applied with TOD theory. Then take examples, such as Hongkong, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Singapore, to research on their case study, includes “Metro Properties” method taken by Hongkong MTR, famous HOPSCA property—roppongi built in Tokyo, planned and developed urban by applying TOD in Copenhagen, established satellite cities by applying TOD in Singapore. All of these case study conclude the principle and features of TOD, which could be the theoretical basis of depot integrated development. Usually, depot of metro covers more area because of its function. As lands for building are more and more insufficient, depot without integrated development will be viewed as waste. Then, this paper pays more attention to analysis the necessary of depot integrated development. On this basis, conduct the quantitative analysis model to determine which are suitable for integrated development from the aspect of economic. And then, case study on depot integrated developments projects, built in Hongkong, Beijing, Shenzhen, concludes the references experience for Tianjin conduct the depot integrated development.
