Teaching aims
To review the key words and sentence patterns in Unit2.
To understand the story and act it out in groups.
To educate Ss to form good study habits

To understand the story and read it aloud.

To act out the story in groups.
Teaching aids: PPT recording cards schoolbags etc.
Teaching procedures:
Step1 warm up(6’)
Greet each other, then sing the song ----My schoolbag
Play a game (to review the new words in this unit which are related to this story )
Lead-in –Magic bag
(1)ppt上跳出一个书包,T:What’s this? Is it a schoolbag? Yes, it’s a schoolbag .Whose schoolbag? ppt上再跳出Zoom的头像,T:Hello, I am Zoom . T:Guess,what’s in Zoom’s schoolbag? PPt点一下,跳出一本English book,再点一下,跳出一本maths book,再点一下,跳出一本Chinese book, notebook…(还有笔,文具盒等)。
(2)T: Is Zoom’s schoolbag heavy? 老师拿出事先准备好的一个空书包和一个装满书的书包,说:It is my schoolbag. It’s heavy, it’s so heavy. But this schoolbag is not heavy, it’s light.并让学生试着提一下,老师适时地说:It’s heavy. it’s so heavy (拿出单词卡片,带读单词heavy).
接着老师又问,Is Zoom’s schoolbag heavy?如果有学生说Yes ,有说No,老师就说:Somebody says yes, somebody says no, now let’s watch a story and find the answer. Today we will learn Unit2 My schoolbag, story time (出示课题)

(1)Read the story in groups and underline the new words and expressions.
(2)Then learn the new expressions.(5’)
