In order to red ce the geomagnetic effect on the color pict re t be and improve the image q ality of the color pict re t be, a kind of eq ipment that can practicably and effectively shield geomagnetic field is p t forward in this paper.A new scheme that com bines this new eq ipment with oscillationmethod is p t forward to more effectively improve the shielding efficiency also. Besides, com paring the shielding res lt of this new eq ipment with that of the c rrent shielding style, it is shown that the new eq ipment is effective and practicable.The geomagnetic tolerance of the color pict re t be can be loosened to a large degree after this eq ipment is sed.The achievement in this paper can be applied to theman fact re of the color pict re t be. Moreover, it hasthe practical val e to red ce the prod ction cost and increase the benefit. Key words: geomagnetic field
