It belongs to the morphological branch of the biological science. The subject of medical study is the human body. The human structure helps students to understand the normal morphology, location, adjacency, law of development and the function of human body systems and organs, fully prepares students for other basic medical courses and their clinical courses. It is only on the basis of understanding normal human structures, could it be possible for the students to distinguish the pathological phenomenon from the physiological phenomenon correctly. Otherwise, it would be impossible for the students to differentiate between normal and abnormal structures, physiological and pathophysiological states, or to make correct decisions during the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Thus, human anatomy is an important required course and is closely related to other medical courses.
