必修五第三单元Life in the future

Analysis of the Teaching Material:
This unit talks about our life in the future. And my teaching material the reading part is a letter from Li Qiang to his parents. As we know, he travelled to the future to AD3008 but still on the earth. By studying his experiences , students will find the differences between present and future life, and predict the good and bad changes in the future. I plan to stimulate their interest in the future life. Meanwhile, I expect to arouse their awareness to the environmental protection.
Analysis of the Ss
My students are mostly at the age of 15 to 17 years old. They are curious about everything and are full of imagination. And also after so many years of English study, they have built up a large vocabulary. But maybe they are still lacking in confidence and so shy that they don’t know how to express themselves in proper English. So during this lesson, I arrange a variety of activities to stimulate their interest so as to let all of them join in and help them be confident.
