What would people do on this day?

What will you do if you have a toothache?

1. This activity reviews earlier vocabulary and introduces some new words.
2.look at the pictures in 1a,what places can you see in the picture?name them in order.
3.Where can you do the things below? answer the question like“ I can .... in a ...or....”

1. This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.
Read the instructions to students. Point out the two conversations that are shown in the picture.
As you listen, fill in the blanks with words you hear in the recording.
2.Play the recording the first time.
Students only listen.
3.Play the recording a second time.
This time ask them to fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
(When students listen, stop the recording from time to time to allow students enough time to fill in the blanks.)
4.Check the answers with the whole class.
5.Read the transcripts sentence by sentence.
