Have a free talk about “mistake” to arouse students’ interests
II Presentation
1. Pre-reading
Ask students 3 questions about “mistakes”
Have you ever made a mistake?
What is a mistake?
If you make a mistake, what will you do?
2. While-reading:
Get Ss to read quickly to find out the answer to:
What’s the writer’s opinion about correcting children’s mistakes?
Get Ss to read the passage again silently and carefully to try to get the answers to the exercises given on the slide show. (2 students will read the passage)
