教学内容及步骤
Step 1: Warming up
1. Greetings. Have a competition among groups.
2. Ask some students about their weekends. Give them some hints and Guess the word “Trip”. Show a picture of the teacher’s. Ask some questions about teacher’s trip.
Step 2: Read and write
1. Read an E-mail and fill in the information card. Check the answers.
2. Mind-map: trip includes activities, feelings, weather, transportation, time…
Step 3: Review
1.How did Miss Ye go for a trip?
She went for a trip by ______. = She ______ for a trip.
Students make sentences.
2. ①What did Mr.Bean do on his trip?
Watch a video and fill in the blanks. Ask students to think about when we should use the past tense.
②Review phrases. What else can we do on a trip? One verb will be given to help students to remember the phrases that we can do on the trips.
Write down the sentences using the past tense, and make it as long as possible.
③Review the past tense. Make a conclusion of the usage of the past tense. Sb. did / Ved + past time. Sb. didn’t V + past time.
3. Feelings. Adjective words with –ing form usually describe something, while with –ed form describe somebody.
Do some exercise.
Step 4: Talk and write
4 students in a group think of one of their unforgettable trip. Write down the key words.
Write a short passage based on the group discussion.
If time permitted, share some writing in class
