Ss can learn new words and expressions about the neighborhood in a town through reading and practicing: post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay phone; Is there a … near here?
Ss can fully master the prepositional phrases indicating directions: across from, next to, between…and…, in front of, behind
Though pair work task-based speaking, Ss can proficiently ask for and give directions on the street
Through listening and speaking practice, Ss can learn more listening techniques and there oral English can be improved
