Teaching aims (教学目标)
1. 学习有管乐器的名词。
2. 学会表达演奏乐器的短语。
3. 能使用can和can’t谈论某个人的能力。
4. 理解听力材料。
Language points (语言点)
1. 词汇:1)名词n. drum, piano, violin
2)短语. play the drums, play the piano, play the violin
2. 句型:Can Bill play the guitar?
Yes, he can, but he can’t sing.
Difficulties (教学重难点)
1. 新单词的拼写及发音。
2. play当弹奏时的用法。
Teaching steps (教学步骤)
Greetings
Greet to the students as usual and lead to new lesson
Presentation (呈现新知识)
1.Show the teaching objects to the students .
2.Invite the students to enjoy the music and ask them what sound they hear.
3.Show some pictures of instruments and laern the new words
4.As k them to finish 1a and then check the answers
3. Work on 1b (完成1b)
(1)Listen and number the words (1–4) in the order of the sounds you hear in 1a.first time students just listen
(2) Play again .check the answers.
(3) Look and say
Can she play the violin ? yes,she can
Can she dance ?yes ,she can .
Can he play the drums ?No,he can’t. but he can play the guitar.
Can she play the piano ?No,she can’t.but she can dance.
4. Work on 1c.
Have Ss make conversations about the four pictures.
A: Can you …
B: Yes, I can./No, I can’t.
C: Can she …?D: Yes, she can./No, she can’t.
5. Listening practice (听力练习)
(1)Work on 1d. Listen and circle the words and phrases you hear.
(2) Check the answers.
(3) Work on 1e. Listen again. Fill in the chart with the words and phrases in 1d.
(4) Work on 1f. Talk about what Bill, Cindy and Frank can and can’t do.
6. Group work
(1) Ask what your group members can and can’t do, then write a report.
(2) Ask some groups to present their reports to the class.
7 .Quiz
Translate and write them down
