教学设计 Lesson plan of unit8 SectionA(1a-1c) Is there a post office near here ? 随州市曾都区实验中学 续云华 第1课时 一、教材内容分析 1a--1c是第八单元的第1课时，本单元主要和学生一起学习如何描述常见的地点，并初步学会使用“there be”结构。首先，通过图片的展现，学习相关的地名，然后通过问路对话，引入“there be”句型。在一段听力材料后学生更熟练的掌握其用法。最后学生小组讨论完成一篇短文填空，最后学生以小组合作的形式完成一篇描述性文章。它起到强化本课时语言点,更加加深学生对本课所学知识点的理解与应用。 二、教学目标 学生通过学习，需达到以下几点要求： ①让学生掌握以下地点和方位的单词：post office,hotel,police station,bank,street,hospital,restaurant,pay phone,across from,in front of以及重点句型--Excuse me,Is there a post office near here?--Yes, there is./No,there isn’t.It’s on Bridge Street.②学生对词汇和句型能熟练用于听、说、读、写的常规教学中。 ③培养学生七年级孩子的基本沟通交流能力，在同学之间营造一种和谐，友好的氛围。 三、教学过程 Step 1: Lead-in and presentation (11minutes) Teacher: Today we are going to learn Unit8“Is there a post office near here?”Students read the title please. Second lead to the new words. The teacher present pictures and the new words cards to teach the new words .
