Dear Ming and Ting-Yang,? Attached is a picture of the ATLAS Forward Calorimeter FCal3C Module. This module, built at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and now in our clean room at CERN, contains approximately half Chinese Tungsten Rods. Recent capacitance measurements confirm the dimensional Quality Control measurements that these rods are of excellent quality. These rods, which form the inner electrode of each of 8200 ionization gaps in each of two modules, are crucial components of the ATLAS Detector and are perhaps the hardest to produce with the necessary parameters. All indications are that this module will be a superb device within the ATLAS Detector. ? The picture is taken in the Jura-side clean room in the North Area at CERN.
