教学目标:
能够听、说、读、写句型:What does he/ she do? He’s/ She’s a/ an ….
能听、说、认读单词或词组:country, head teacher 和句子:He often goes to other countries. I want to be a businessman.
学生能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
能从不同视角认识职业,明白能从事某些职业应具备的条件,构思自己的职业梦想。
教学重难点:
重点:学习句子What does he/ she do? He’s/ She’s a/ an ….
难点:country的复数形式。
教学准备:

教学过程:
(一)Warm-up
1. Sing a song: My family(四年级上册)
2. Free talk(T-S→S-S)
A: What day is it today? B: It’s ….
A: What do you do? B: I’m a student.
A: What’s your father/ mother? B: He’s/ She’s a/ an ….
A: Do you want to be a…? B: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
A: What do you want to be? B: I want to be a/ an ….
(二)Revision
1. Game:Sharp eyes
课件快速呈现已学过的关于职业的单词(nurse, doctor, farmer, driver, teacher),学生举手抢答。
T: What’s his/ her job?
S: He’s/ She’s a/ an ….
(三)Presentation
1. Look and say.
(1)教师出示厨师的图片问:What’s her job? 学生根据图片回答:She’s a cook.
课件呈现护士的图片,教师用What does she do? 来提问,引导学生回答:She’s a nurse. 课件展示“What’s her job? What does she do?”这两句问句,并说明这两句是同义句,用以询问女性职业。板书并带读What does she do? 出示女教师图片,让学生两人小组问答:What does she do? She’s a teacher.
(2)同上,教师先用What’s his job? 来提问职业,再过渡到用What does he do?来问。课件展示“What’s his job? What does he do?”这两句问句,并说明这两句是同义句,用以询问男性职业。板书并带读What does he do? 出示男医生图片,让学生两人小组问答:What does he do? He’s a doctor.
(3)课件呈现head teacher的图片时,问:What does he do? 学生回答后,教师接着说:He’s a teacher. He’s a head teacher. Miss Li is our head teacher. 课件展示本校校长的图片,帮助学生理解head teacher是校长的意思,此时板书head teacher。教师带读单词后,采用“大小声”的方式让学生操练单词。
(4) 课件展示商人的图片,说:He’s very busy every day. He works in a company. He’s doing business now. Can you guess what does he do? 学生回答后,教师补充:Yes,he is a businessman. 板书businessman后,教师带读,并采用“金手指”的操练方式读单词,如伸出几根手指就读几遍。教师接着说: The businessman often goes to other countries. China is a country. America is a country, too. 板书country,让学生说说country的意思。接着全班跟读单词,再让学生说出它的复数形式,提醒学生注意:应把y改成i再加es,补充板书countries。这时让
