Teaching aims : 1.Students be?able to understand the text and read after the tape with correct intonation and tones. 2.Be able to?know something about our traditional festivals ,and the acticities family often do on Mid-Autumn Festival. 3.Be able to treasure the time when the family get together. Teaching key points and difficulities: Students be able to read and understand the text to get some information and useful sentences pattern. Students be able to use “be going to do “ to make their own plan correctly. Teaching adds: ppt pictures a real mooncake Teaching steps: Step1:Greeting Step2:leading in What’s in my hand? On which festival do we eat mooncakes? Today ,we are going to learn a diary about Mid-Autumn Festival. Step3:Presentation Step4:Reading Fast reading and circle the words you don’t know. Explain the new phrases. Get together Show pictures about getting together and ask when do your family get together and what will they do ? Are you going to get together in 20 years later? have a big dinner tell a story about … show pictures about Dragon Boat Festival and the seventh evening of July to practice “tell a story about…” Read again and fill in the table. Read Wu Yifan and Robin’s poem. Say some poems about the moon . Show a poem of the teacher’s to stimulate the student’s writing willing.
