Ⅰ.The analysis of the teaching contents:
The aims of period 2 is to practice sentence patterns, enable the students to use English to ask and answer with “Is she in the ____?” At the first of this lesson, we can review those words in Let’s learn; Secondly, listen and repeat, practice the key sentence patterns in this lesson, Thirdly, let the students use other words or phrases to make up dialogs; At last, set up different kinds of situations for students to ask and answer in the real situations.
Ⅱ.The analysis of the students:
The students in grade 4 are active and they like to show themselves. According to listening and speaking, enable them to use English flexibly.
Teaching aims:
Ⅰ. Knowledge aims:
Review the words and chant in period 1.
Enable the students to master the key sentence patterns.
Enable the students to make up dialogs.
Ⅱ. Ability aims:
Improve the students’ abilities of listening and speaking.
