* Along the internal iliac artery , near the pelvic organs ,there are paravisceral lymph nodes, receive the lymph from those organs ,and empty into the internal iliac lymph nodes. * * Located near the origin of the celiac trunk ,receive the lymph from regional lymph nodes which positioned periphery of the arteries with the same name and drains the lymph from simliar area with these arteries. * * * * * * * * 3. Defence This function is carried out by the white blood cells present in lymphatic vessels and lymphatic organs. * Lymphatic vessels form a one-way system ,consisting of capillary,vessel, trunk and duct * The network of lymphatic vessels begins with lymphatic capillaries. They are closed-ended tubes that form vast networks in the intercellular spaces within most tissue. * Small lymphatic capillaries converge into lager lymphatic vessels. * Here we see the video clip of valve of lymphatic vessel. According to it’s position ,the vessels can be divided into two groups ,: superficial and deep lymphatic vessel.. The superficial lymphatic vessel lies in the superficial fascia, along with the superficial vein. Deep lymphatic vessel positioned under the deep fascia or along with the deep blood vessel and nerves. * In turn , the lymphatic vessels unite to form the lymphatic trunk, There are nine lymphatic trunk in our body , each is in charge of drainage of lymph from different subdivided regions . Eight trunks in four pair on either side of the body, there are,Jugular trunks, subclavian trunks, bronchomediastinal trunks, lumber trunks. mesenteric trunks . * Interconnecting lymph trunks eventurally empty into one of the two principal duct: right lymphatic duct and the thoracic duct. The right lymphatic duct receives the right jugular, right sublavian and right bronchomediastinal trunk. carries the lymph from right upper extremity ,right thoracic region and right side of the head and neck.
