Step 1 Warming up
Show some pictures about furniture:a bed,a sofa,a bookcase and so on.Ask the question:

Work on 1a.

= 2 \* GB3 ②Let students look at the picture in 1a.
= 3 \* GB3 ③Ask students to find out the things in the picture,then match the things with words.Teacher
checks the answers with students.

Step 2 Listening
Work on 1b,2a and 2b.
Play the recording for the first time.Students only listen.
Play the recording again and ask students to complete 1b,2a and 2b.
Check the answers in 1b,2a and 2b.
Step 3 Pairwork
Work on 1c.
Look at the pictures in 1a and write the things you see.
Make conversations with the things in 1a.
A:Where’s the schoolbag?
B:It’s under the table.
Work on 2c.
Ask and answer questions about the things in the picture in 2b.
A:Are the keys on the sofa?
B:No,they aren’t. They’re on the table.
Step 4 Role-play
Work on 2d.
Let students read the conversation.Then role-play it.
