摘要 在西学东渐的大潮中，中国文论如何保持自己独立的话语权一直是国内外 学者所共同关注的问题。宇文所安（Stephen Owen）作为西方汉学界一位重要的 学者，一直致力于研究中国古典文学与文论。他深谙中国传统文化，创作了大 量的诗歌和文论研究著作，在中西方双重理论视野的关照下，他的观点独树一 帜、富有新意。本文试图透过他对《文心雕龙》这一中国文学理论重要作品的 研究，深入探析他的中国古代文论研究方法及其特点，以期对中国本土的《文 心雕龙》研究有新的认识，为中国文论的研究开启一扇“异域之门”。 具体而言，宇文所安的《文心雕龙》研究抛弃了传统“观念式”、“下定义” 的研究方法，在文本细读的基础上，以对作品的无限还原、对作者写作意图的 重新激活为视角，来对《文心雕龙》文本进行新的研究。他将《文心雕龙》这 一经典著作视作一部普通文本来重新审视，其间充满问题意识。他将文本置于 特定的历史时期、特定的文学发展史中进行研究，这种方式使他的研究观点具 有客观性。在对中国传统文论与西方文学理论的熟练运用下，宇文所安的《文 心雕龙》研究为传统中国文论研究带来了新的活力。 在对宇文所安文学理论研究方法理性借鉴的基础上，我们应该客观面对本 国文学经典作品，重新审视、坚持反思，使中国古代文学理论作为迥异于西方 文论的独特存在，不断保持自己的活力，使我国文学经典著作的传承和发展历 久而弥新。 关键词：宇文所安；《文心雕龙》；比较诗学；文本还原；文本激活 I 万方数据 Abstract In the wave of western learning, the scholars from home and broad pay close attention to the independent utterance right of the Chinese literary theory. Stephen Owen, as one of the most prominent scholar in the Western Sinology, has been devoting himself to the Chinese traditional literature and literary theory. He knows Chinese traditional culture very well, creating a great number of poetry and research works. On this occasion, his view becomes an independent school full of new ideas. By analyzing the WenXinDiaoLong, this paper tries to explore the similarity and specialty of his Chinese literary theory in order to have a new understanding of it and to open a exotic door to Chinese literary theory. In practical terms, Stephen Owen’s research has already abandoned the traditional “old idea” and “old definition”. On the basis of close reading, we obtain the new understanding from WenXinDiaoLong by reverting to the work itself. His research is filled with consciousness of problems, he puts the text in the specific historic context and literary history, only in this way can he draw a objective conclusion. Thus, his research of WenXinDiaoLong pumps life into the Chinese traditional literary research.
